Bhubaneswar: In a joint operation conducted today, the forest wing of Odisha Vigilance raided an illegal sawmill operating without a valid license at Athanga village under Niali police station in Cuttack district.
According to reports, the team seized sawmill accessories and valuable timber, including 8.51 cft of processed timber and 50.64 cft of round teak timber, worth a total of Rs 13,07,866.
The timber was found stacked near Athanga Primary School.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released soon.
