Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance has arrested the Forester of Sagada section under DFO (South) in Kalahandi Jogendra Majhi on charges of corruption.
Majhi has been forwarded to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna.
Based on reliable inputs Majhi was intercepted by Vigilance officials on Monday at Bhawanipatna at around 9.30 PM and suspected ill-gotten cash to the tune of Rs 2,03,000 was recovered from his possession, which he could not account for satisfactorily.
Vigilance has registered a case under sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(b) of the PC Amendment Act of 2018 against Majhi.
