Bhubaneswar: Rabindra Kumar Aich, former Secretary of Gadapokhari Service Co-operative Society, Khaira Branch under BBCC Bank Ltd., Balasore, has been convicted by the Special Vigilance Judge, Balasore, for misappropriating society funds worth Rs 7.48 lakh between 1997-98 and 2000-01.
Aich was sentenced to three years of rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 50,000.
The Odisha Vigilance will now move to stop Aich’s pension following his conviction.
