Bhubaneswar: Former Governor of Odisha, Prof. Ganeshi Lal, on Monday called on former Chief Minister and current Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Odisha Assembly, Naveen Patnaik.
Sharing a brief note on the meeting, Patnaik posted on X: “Glad to meet former Governor of Odisha Prof Ganeshi Lal ji. We recalled his services to Odisha during the stint in the state. Thanked him for the courtesy visit and wished him a healthy life.”
Prof. Ganeshi Lal, who served as the Governor from May 2018 to November 2023, was known for his engagement in social initiatives and public outreach during his tenure. The meeting between the two leaders was marked by cordiality and mutual respect, with Patnaik acknowledging the former Governor’s contributions to Odisha.
