Bhubaneswar: The former In-Charge of Badachana Police Station in Jajpur district has been suspended with immediate effect due to allegations of gross misconduct and negligence in duty.
A notification issued by the State Police Headquarters stated that a disciplinary proceeding is being contemplated against Inspector Madhusmita Behera.
During the suspension period, Behera will remain under the disciplinary control of the Superintendent of Police, Jajpur. She will be entitled to draw subsistence allowance (SA) and dearness allowance (DA) as per Rule 90 of the Odisha Service Code.
