Bhubaneswar: A day after their names were dropped from the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s new Council of Ministers, some former Ministers met the Chief Minister at his residence Naveen Niwas on Monday.
During the discussion, Patnaik reportedly said that there is a need for rotation in the party and all should get a chance. The dropped Ministers are to focus on strengthening the party organization keeping in view the 2024 general elections.
It is pertinent to mention that a total of 13 Cabinet Ministers and 8 Ministers of State with Independent Charge were sworn in into Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s Council of Ministers on Sunday.
