Bhubaneswar: The former MLA of Aska Saroj Padhi has reportedly gone missing. Padhi’s son has lodged a complaint in this regards with Capital Police on Friday. The former MLA’s son alleged that Padhi has been missing since May 12. Padhi left home at 8 am on May 11 and did not return, the missing report stated.
The ex-MLA had gone to his house here Unit 6 and has not responded since then. The family suspected kidnapping as Padhi was receiving frequent calls over the last few days. His mobile phone is now switched off, they added. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and initiated a search, sources said.
