Sonepur: In a heart-rending accident, a youth died on the spot after being hit by a train at Dunguipali railway station in the Sonepur district of Odisha on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Abinash Mishra, son of former MP Balgopal Mishra.
Sources said that the mishap occurred soon after Abinash was out on a morning walk today morning. He was walking too close to a railway track at Dunguripali when a speeding train hit him. Abinash died on the spot.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel have reached the spot and started an investigation.
