Paradip: In a shocking incident, four bus staff members of a private bus were allegedly drugged and robbed at the Paradip bus stand on Tuesday.

According to reports, some people approached the bus staff members of Tridevi buses under the pretext of bus reservation. After gaining the staff’s confidence, they offered them tea allegedly laced with drugs.

After consuming the tea, the bus staff fell unconscious, and the robbers looted money, mobile phones, and other valuables from them.

The unconscious staff members were initially taken to Atharbanki Hospital in Paradip for treatment, after which they were transferred to a hospital in Cuttack due to a deteriorating health condition.

No details about the valuables stolen from the bus and staff members are available.

Further details about the incident are awaited.
