Four Critical As Ambulance Hits Bus In Khurdha

Bhubaneswar: An ambulance carrying patient along with attendants hit a private college bus from behind near PN College on National Highway 16 in Khurda. Four relatives of the patient got stuck in the Ambulance.

On being informed, fire brigade reached the spot and cut the vehicle with the help of a gas cutter to recue the persons stuck inside.

The fire brigade team admitted them Khurdha District Headquarters Hospital.

The ambulance was completely destroyed in the mishap. The Ambulance driver attributed the accident to brake failure.

Police also reached the spot and launched an inquiry.

Police said that the ambulance was heading to Kolkata from Tamil Nadu.
