Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a four-month-old baby boy was allegedly stolen from the platform of Nirakarpur Railway Station under the Khordha Railway Division.
According to the complaint lodged at the Nirakarpur Government Railway Police (GRP) station, the incident occurred while the child’s parents (husband and wife) were resting on the platform with their infant son. The mother was holding the baby in her lap when an unidentified miscreant allegedly snatched the child and fled from the spot.
The distressed family immediately approached the Nirakarpur GRP police and filed a formal complaint. Based on the complaint, Railway Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
