Bhubaneswar: Four districts in Odisha have recorded surplus rainfall during the month of 1st June 2021 to 15th September 2021.
As per government sources, the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri, and Nayagarh have received surplus rainfall (above 19%).
Besides, 20 districts have recorded normal rainfall (+19% to -19%) and six districts have recorded deficit rainfall (shortfall of >19% up to 39%) within the same period.
The districts that have received normal rainfall are, Khordha, Ganjam, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Subarnapur, Malkanagiri, Gajapati, Koraput, Nuapada, Balasore, Kandhamal, Jajpur, Rayagada, Bargarh, Nawarangpur, Balangir, Kalahandi, Boudh, Mayurbhanj, and Angul.
The districts that have received deficit rainfall are, Bhadrak, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, and Jharsuguda.
