Dhenkanal: Four passengers sustained critical injuries as the bus they were travelling on met with an accident on NH 149 near Parjang on Sunday morning. The mishap occured near the Shiva Temple on the national highway under Parjang police limits.
There were around 60 passengers travelling on the bus which was heading to Jajpur from Rourkela. The injured were shifted to Talcher Sub Division hospital at Mandapal.
Local police and rescue personnel rushed to the spot after getting an alert. As the mishap took place during the wee hours of the day, most of the passengers were asleep. It was a narrow escape for them as there were no fatalities in the bus which toppled.
