Four Sentenced To Life Imprisonment In Jatni Murder Case

Bhubaneswar: The Khordha Additional District Judge II convicted four persons in connection with the Jatni murder case and sentenced them to life imprisonment. The case pertains to the brutal murder of Anup Behra on March 2, 2017.

The court found Halu Behra, Mrunal Behra, Gopinath Behra, and Nalu Behra guilty of murdering Anup using sharp weapons and iron rods. The verdict was delivered after a thorough investigation and trial. The court’s order brings closure to the victim’s family, who had been seeking justice for over eight years.

The Jatni murder case had sent shock waves in the region due to its brutality.
