**Bhubaneswar:** In yet another case of admission fraud, the Commissionerate Police on Thursday arrested a middleman identified as Sunil Samantray on charges of duping a medical aspirant of around Rs 30 lakh on pretext of providing admission into MBBS course in several medical colleges.
Sunil, a resident of Jarka in Jajpur district collected money falsely promising the students of helping them to get admission at various reputed medical colleges across the city. The matter came into light after a complaint was lodged by a woman at the Infocity police station here, following which Samantray was arrested.
Meanwhile, the admission process at various private and government medical colleges across the State has already started.
