Bhubaneswar: A goods train derailed near the Mancheswar railway level crossing in Bhubaneswar, in the early hours, on Monday.
According to reports, eight coaches of a freight train derailed near the Mancheswar level crossing at around 4:00 a.m.
Upon learning about the incident, railway officials immediately reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. The railway tracks are being cleared to facilitate the movement of other trains operating on the route.
The derailment has affected the schedule of eight trains passing through the route, out of which two trains have been cancelled and six were rescheduled.
No casualties have been reported by railway officials.
