Bhubaneswar: Things have become messy for Dinesh Behera, manager of late Odia singer Humane Sagar, after a fresh complaint was filed against him at the Mahila Police Station in Cuttack on Saturday.

The complaint was submitted by the State Human Rights Council, seeking a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to Humane Sagar’s death.

The outfit members held Humane Sagar’s managers, Prashant Behera and Dinesh Behera, responsible for the singer’s death. They urged police to initiate strict legal action against the managers,

According to the complainants, Dinesh Behera allegedly used derogatory language towards the late singer’s mother and misbehaved with her.

It is pertinent to mention that Sagar passed away on November 17 while undergoing treatment for pneumonia and multiple organ failure at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage in the state, with social and cultural organisations demanding a high-level probe into the matter.
