Bhubaneswar: A fresh low pressure area is likely to be formed at the east-central Bay of Bengal and neighbouring north Andaman Sea on October 19. It is likely to become more marked during the subsequent 24 hours. It, however, has a low probability of further intensification.

The regional Meteorological centre here shared the prediction on Twitter. The low pressure might induce medium rainfall with thundershower in over Odisha and its neighbouring states.
Night temperatures to remain normal to below normal over the entire country except eat, east-central and northeast India.
The weekly report from IMD said that monsoon is unlikely to completely withdraw until October 29 because south-westerly monsoon winds are strong, and east and northeast India is expected to receive rain during that week.
