Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation is likely to form over north Andaman sea & neighbourhood on September 29. The system is likely to intensify into a Low Pressure over north Andaman sea and adjoining East-central Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours, IMD bulletin stated.
Light to Moderate rain occurred at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha with heavy Rainfall at one place over the district of Mayurbhanj.
Light to moderate rain and thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Keonjhar and at many places over the rest of the districts.
The weather department issued yellow warning for Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Boudh, Kandhamal.
The weather forecasting agency stated that conditions are becoming favourable for withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from parts of West Rajasthan from around September 25.
