From Roadside Eatery To BSc Lateral Entry, Know Journey Of OJEE Topper Bhabani

Bhubaneswar: Twenty-year-old Bhabani Shankar Behera of Keonjhar has proved that there is no excuse for success by securing a rank in the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2019, whose results were announced on Wednesday.

Son of a roadside eatery owner Gurucharan Behera of Pipilia in Ghatgaon block of Keonjhar district, Bhabani has brought laurels for his parents by securing top position in BSc Lateral Entry.

But treading on the path of success was no easy task for Bhabani. He had to struggle amid helping his father at his shop and preparing for the OJEE while pursuing his graduation at Laxmi Narayan Degree College in Pipilia.

It is worthwhile to mention that a total number of 25,666 students have been allotted ranks in Phase-1 Under Graduate Courses exam and 39,576 students in Phase-2 Post Graduate Courses computer-based exam conducted by OJEE Committee.
