Bhubaneswar: The Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment Department officials will need to furnish their respective property statements with the authority or face action. In a letter issued to all officials of A&FE Department, Principal Secretary Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee sought the submission of property statements by January 31, 2023.
“In a letter issued by the GA & PG Department on December 31, 2022, has advised all the employees to submit their Annual Property Statement (as of 1st January) for the year 2022 online through the HRMS, latest by January 1, 2023. This is all the more important, as submission of the property statements is a pre-requisite for consideration of officials for promotion to the next higher grade,” the letter noted.
“You must be aware that submission of Annual Property Statement is a mandatory requirement for all Government officials of the state as per the principles outlined under Odisha Government Service Conduct (Amendment) Rules, 2021,” it further read.
If any official fails to furnish the property details on the HRMS portal by the aforementioned date, their salaries for February, 2023 will not be drawn till they comply. The concerned officers dealing with Office Establishment will submit the list of defaulting officials to the authority for appropriate action, it added.
“I also must make it clear that this directive is applicable to All India Service officers of this department including the undersigned,” the letter signed by Principal Secretary A&FE further noted.
