Bhubaneswar: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will undertake a day-long visit to Odisha on April 19, state BJP vice-president Golak Mohapatra announced on Monday.
Speaking to reporters, Mohapatra said Gadkari is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar and inaugurate several national highway projects for the state at Baramunda Ground.
“This is a golden era for Odisha, as the central leadership is visiting the state to accelerate development under the double-engine government,” he said.
Mohapatra highlighted that recently, Union Health Minister JP Nadda also visited Odisha to launch the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). He emphasized that the central government is prioritizing the holistic development of Odisha.
