Baripada: Police on Tuesday busted a gambling den operating on the backside of Biju Patnaik College at Singida under Roruan police limits in Mayurbhanj district and arrested seven persons involved in the crime.
Roruan police seized Rs 69,500 in cash; and 24 vehicles which include a car, an autorickshaw, 22 motorbikes and six mobile phones from the possession of the accused persons. A gambling dice board has been also seized from their possession.
A case has been registered at Roruan police station in this connection.
The accused have been forwarded to court.
