Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Sunday arrested Ganjam Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Susil Kumar Panda for possession of disproportionate assets.
He is scheduled to be produced before the Court of Special Judge (Vigilance) in Berhampur on Sunday.
According to an official press release, the vigilance officials seized multiple assets during searches conducted at Panda’s properties.
These include one multi-storeyed building, two flats, six high-value plots, 126 grams of gold, bank and insurance deposits worth approximately Rs 1 crore, and cash amounting to Rs 2.05 lakhs. Panda has been unable to provide satisfactory explanations for these assets.
In connection with the case, Berhampur Vigilance Police Station has registered case number 9/2025 against Susil Kumar Panda.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
