Ganjam DM Asks Chatrapur Medicine Store Owners To Alert Admin On Covid Suspects

Ganjam: As a part and parcel of his concerted efforts on fighting against and successfully tackling the ongoing virulent pandemic, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange on Tuesday evening hours personally took stock of the situation at the district headquarters town of Chatrapur.

After an interval of a few days, he once again visited each and every shop on foot stretching between the upper bus stand and Dashiri Jagannath Mandir Chhak. He did this in a bid to ascertain strict observance of the prescribed guidelines of social distancing, barricading, maintaining contact diary, use of mask and sanitizer.

Kulange most importantly asked the medicine store owners to immediately intimate the district administration in case of any suspected Covid-infected customers found purchasing medicine.

The District Collector also reviewed the sanitation measures being undertaken in the headquarters town. He advised all the people to sincerely use waste disposal bins. He further directed NAC executive officer N. Ganesh Babu to implement night shift waste disposal and sanitary activities in addition to the morning shift from Tuesday night onwards.
