On Dwadashi tithi, yesterday, a grand procession was held to share the joyous news of the deities’ recovery with Puri Gajapati Maharaj. This ritual, known as Raja Prasad Bije, was performed with traditional fervour.
It is pertinent to mention that after the grand Snana Purnima bath, Lord Jagannath and his siblings fell sick and took refuge in the Anasara Ghara for treatment. As part of their recovery, the deities are being administered various herbal medicines.
