Koraput: Two days after the mysterious death of a minor boy at Mahabir Line in Parabeda area under Jeypore police limits of Koraput district, his elder sister also allegedly committed suicide on Saturday.
The body of a Class VII student Subasish Nayak, the son of Gadadhar Nayak, had been recovered from the roof of their house on Thursday. It was alleged that he committed suicide but police are yet to ascertain the actual reason behind his death.
On learning about Subhasish’s death, his sister Rasmita Nayak (24), who was working in Bhubaneswar, reached her home on Friday. On the very next day, Rasmita was also found dead on the roof.
As per the last reports, Jeypore Police have registered an unnatural death case and have initiated a probe into the matter. More details about her death can be known receiving after the post-mortem report, said Jeypore SDPO Arup Abhisekh Behera.
