Goods Train Derails At Sarla Yard In Sambalpur; Train Movement Normal

Goods train derails

Bhubaneswar: A trolley of an empty goods train wagon derailed at Sarla Yard in Sambalpur railway division on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2.26pm during the maintenance work, according to a railway statement. The trolley went off the tract while the goods train was admitting for maintenance at a very slow speed, added the statement.

Railway officials said that the movement of trains was not affected in the railway division due to the incident. The main line is free for train movements.
