Koraput: A goods train (No. JSWD/VPTG-1/G9) derailed at Sivlingapuram in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh near the Odish border in the early hours of Thursday. Eleven wagons of the train, en route to Araku from Kothavalasa, were derailed. A Quick Response Team (QRT) from Koraput has left for the accident site.
The Visakhapatnam-Jagdalpur passenger train was cancelled following the derailment.
