Bhubaneswar: Police on Friday arrested Mithun Jena, the prime accused in the November 6 gruesome murder of Sasmita Behera, a tiffin stall owner in the Gothapatna market area under Chandaka police limits.
Chandaka police took Mithun to the spot for crime scene recreation wherein the latter gave a demonstration of how he stabbed Sasmita to death.
Police have also seized the weapon of offence, a knife used by Mithun in the murder.
Police have booked Mithun under section 302 of the IPC and forwarded him to court.
