Bhubaneswar: On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced Goutam Samantray as the party candidate for the Jeypore Assembly seat in the Koraput district.
Goutam Samantray will be engaged in a triangular contest in the seat. The other two main candidates are Taraprasad Bahinipati, the sitting MLA of Congress, and Indira Nanda of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD). Indira Nanda is the wife of former Odisha minister Rabi Narayan Nanda.
