Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati has appealed to religious organisations to offer prayers for the soldiers and civilians who have lost their lives in the fight against terrorism. He also appealed to educational institutions to fly the national flag as a show of solidarity.
At an all-religion meeting held at Raj Bhavan, attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and senior defence personnel, the Governor emphasised the need for unity against terrorism. “Terrorism has no religion. Violence has no scripture,” he said, expressing deep sorrow over the recent attack that claimed 26 lives.
The Governor praised the bravery of the armed forces, who have launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ to target terrorist camps across the border. He urged citizens to stand firmly behind the soldiers and extend support to the families of the victims.
Kambhampati extended his condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured. “Let us send a message to the world that India will never be bowed by terror. Our strength lies in our unity and unwavering support for those who protect us,” he said.
