Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal Releases Patriotic Song ‘A Mati Odisha, A Jati Odia’

Bhubaneswar: A patriotic song ‘A Mati Odisha, A Jati Odia’ was released by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal at the Raj Bhawan here on the occasion of Utkala Dibasa today.

The music for the song written by Basant Raj Samal has been composed by popular music director Prem Anand, said an official press release issued from the Governor’s office.

The song has been sung by popular vocalists Humane Sagar, Ananya Sritam Nanda, Ashutosh Mohanty, Sricharan Mohanty, Sabisesh Mishra, Sasank Sekhar, Pragyan Prasmita Hota, Biswajit Mahapatra, Deba Krupa Mishra, Alka Abhilekha, Samikshya Mishra, Lopamudra Dash, Sriya Mishra and Sonam Dash.

Governor Prof Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik have lent their voice in the song.

The picturization of the song has been done under the direction of Jaya Biswas.

Odisha’s treasures and beauty have been featured in the song’s picturization.

The Governor apart from praising the noble effort has greeted and congratulated all involved in the successful production of the song.

Secretary to Governor Dr Pramod Meherda among others was present during the song release.
