Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the third instalment release of the Subhadra Yojana, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida arrived at Jeypore in Koraput district. During her visit, she announced that a review would be conducted today to facilitate the scheme’s benefits for women in Kotia.
Addressing the media, Parida, following his arrival in Jeypore, stated, “As we had announced to provide Subhadra benefits to Kotia-based women, we’re conducting a review in Koita today. There are 26 Anganwadi centres under the Kotia panchayat, and we will have discussions with Anganwadi workers and Lakhpati Didis. And problems being faced by 100 Kotia women have been sorted out.”
It is learnt that Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to attend the Subhadra Yojana disbursement ceremony in Jeypore on Rakhi Purnima, marking the release of the third instalment under the flagship women’s financial empowerment scheme.
The event is anticipated to draw a large turnout of beneficiaries eagerly awaiting the benefits.
