Bhubaneswar: Several days after the Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the body of a woman from a toilet of Dhanbad Express at Bhubaneswar railway station, the authorities have put up posters in n effort to establish the identity of the deceased.
The posters have been put up at various railway stations across the country including Bhubaneswar and crowded places to ascertain the identity of the woman. The GRP has assured that they would not reveal the identity of the person giving information.
It is worth mentioning here that the body of the unidentified woman was found in a toilet of the Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Express train (02831) after it arrived at Bhubaneswar railway station on Thursday last. The body was found inside the lavatory of the S/5 coach of the train and spotted by sanitary workers.
In its posters, the GRP has said that the body appeared to be that of a married woman with around five feet in height, a slim figure, and a dusky complexion. She wore salwar and kurta, red bangles, and an imitation ‘Mangalsutra’.
The GRP has also given three phone numbers – 9438122528, 9438916892, and 7008297947 – for sharing information about the deceased woman.
