Sundargarh: A team of Jharasuguda GST Enforcement launched simultaneous raids on the premises of Maa Tarini Automobiles in the Rani Bagicha area and the homes of the firm’s owners, Suresh Sahu and Rajesh Sahu, in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Thursday on charges of GST evasion.
Satish Jal, Jharsuguda GST Assistant, is leading the raiding team comprising GST officials and local police. According to Ashish Dash of the GST Enforcement Department in Jharsuguda, the raids are being conducted on the orders of the GST Commissioner after receiving information regarding GST evasion by the firm.
