Bhubaneswar: An official of the Goods and Service Tax official on Tuesday filed a police complaint against BJP MLA Kusum Tete alleging obstruction in discharging official (government) work.
The complaint was filed at Paikamal police station. According to reports, the allegations have been made against Tete and her supporters.
“Kusum and her supporters attacked the officials during the GST raid on Jagdamba Cloth Store in Paikmal. The GST officer was abused and her her papers were taken away,” the complaint stated.
Around 10 to 20 people obstructed the work of GST officials on the pretext of buying cloth. Shop owner Sunil Agarwal was also cooperating, the complaint further read.
