Bhubaneswar: Doctors are indeed Gods in white coats and Associate Professor Dr Jyotimaya Nayak of SCB Medical College and Hospital has proved it.  Dr Nayak has demonstrated the true meaning of being a guardian angel in a white coat. Else, Nayak could not have saved life of a passenger on a recent Indigo flight to Delhi. In essence, Dr Nayak’s exceptional medical expertise and quick thinking saved the life of a passenger who had suddenly fallen ill mid-air.

According to reports, while Dr Nayak was traveling to Delhi on an Indigo flight, a passenger suddenly fell ill mid-air. The passenger even lost consciousness after some time. Witnessing this, Dr Nayak immediately administered CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) to the passenger and successfully saved their life.

Following the plane’s landing, the passenger was rushed to the hospital for further treatment. Additionally, Dr Nayak took the time to educate others on the proper administration of CPR and its life-saving benefits.

His selfless act has earned him widespread praise, and his dedication to his profession is truly inspiring.
