Bhubaneswar: The first talk of the year for the SAI Thought Leadership Series was delivered by Spiritual Thinker, Writer & Philanthropist, Guruji Dr Chandra Bhanu Satpathy on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at SAI International School, where he touched upon the ‘Value of Indian Culture & Tradition’ & shared his valuable insights on the pivotal role of Indian values in education & leadership. He emphasized on how the religious & cultural values of India provide a rich tapestry for the country’s youth to learn from, being the agents of change as thoughtful leaders of the 21st century. It was also streamed live on Youtube for the parents of SAI International Education Group.

SAI Thought Leadership Series, a brainchild of Late Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Founder-Chairman, SAI International Education Group, is a vital learning platform where global thought leaders of prominence & trend setter in their own field, engage in deliberation on a plethora of relevant issues and subjects with a focus on the development of education eventually leading to the building of the nation. The thought speakers, via their deeply enriching talks will not just develop civic competencies, regulate thought processes but act as pathfinders and problem solvers, thereby encouraging & inspiring the youth of the country.

During this insightful session, Dr CB Satpathy addressed the students, saying, “Education is directly proportional to discipline of mind & discipline comes from the culture passed on through generations, from our forefathers as a legacy, that is never to stay static but to evolve with time.” He also said, “The most humane human is the one who is sensitive towards others’ sensitivities.”

Igniting the young minds with essential life lessons, Guruji shed some light on how the ancient Puranas, Upanishads, Mahabharata & Ramayana depict the essence of Indian values & culture in the most sublime way and how the teachings from these contribute towards one’s personality in totality, beyond just academics.

Achievers with accomplishments in the national arena of science, technology & innovation were felicitated on this occasion of SAI Thought Leadership Series.

Expressing her views on the session, Dr Silpi Sahoo, Chairperson, SAI International Education Group, said, “With improved learning & health, increased tolerance, and opportunities to come together with others, our age-old culture preserved in scriptures, contributes immensely towards enhancing our quality of life and increases overall well-being for both individuals and communities.”

The lessons of Indian values, culture & tradition as imparted by Guruji in this session, definitely had an indelible impact on the young minds.
