Puri: A habisiali was allegedly manhandled by a servitor at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.
Reportedly, 62-year-old Kumari Nayak of Sahaspur in Brahmagiri was staying at Brundabati Habisiali camp.
She had gone to the temple with other habisialis for darshan organised by the district administration when she was manhandled by a servitor.
The servitor slapped her while abusing her. When she fell down, the servitor also pressed his leg on her neck.
As a result, her left ear and neck were injured. Such a crime in a place like a temple has shocked everyone. So far, no response has been received from the officials.
