A Poem a Day is a volume of Indian poetry, selected and translated by Gulzar, one of India’s most renowned and respected poets.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his gratitude and thanked to Gulzar for including the poems of one of Odisha’s gems in his book. Naveen tweeted:

“Thank you #Gulzar Saab for including #Odisha’s legendary poet Haldhar Nag’s poems in your translated poetry collection, ‘A Poem A Day’. It is a fitting tribute to the immensely talented Koshali language poet and his lifelong work to promote the language.”
