Sundargarh: The district authorities in Odisha’s Sundargarh district launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with much fanfare on Tuesday ahead of the 78th Independence Day celebrations.
On this occasion, a mini-marathon was organised from the DRDA Street to New Bus Stand, while a bike rally was organised in the city. Additional District Magistrate Abhimanyu Majhi and District Council Chief Development Officer Bhukabandhu Naik flagged off the marathon, while the bike rally was flagged off by District Magistrate Manoj Sushban.
Students from various schools, colleges, and sports hostels as well as local citizens participated in the mini-marathon and the bike rally waving the Tricolour.
Upazilapal Dasharathi Sarabu, Additional District Education Officer (DEO) Sarangdhar Bariha, SDPO Himanshu Behera, PA ITDA Dhirendra Sethi, District Sports Officer Vishwakeshan Pandey, District Information and Public Relations Officer Nandini Mundari participated in the two events.
