Cuttack: In a significant decision, the Orissa High Court today ordered an interim stay on the publication of the final result of the Odisha Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Exam-2022 conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).
The court has barred the OPSC from publishing the final result without its permission.
The court has, however, allowed OPSC to continue with the computer proficiency test.
The court has fixed December 20 as the next date for a hearing on the matter.
The court issued the interim stay after admitting a petition alleging largescale illegalities in the conduct of the ASO recruitment exam.
The petitioners have raised their objection to the subject-wise qualifying mark rule and have alleged it to be illegal.
They have appealed for the publication of the merit list as per the procedure adopted earlier.
