Bhubaneswar: Responding to a request from the Director, Odisha Vigilance, the state Health and Family Welfare department will undertake the health screening of all Vigilance personnel and the family members residing with them.
As per a letter of Shalini Pandit, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, to the heads of all government-run health facilities in the state, the health check-up will include all essential and desirable tests to be undertaken at selected government health facilities.
The essential and regular tests include blood, urine, general tests and cancer screening and ECG.
The initial screening of all Vigilance personnel and family members residing with them and who are above 35 years of age will be done for essential tests. However, the due prescription is required from physicians to undergo the tests in the desirable category.
