Bhubaneswar: Secretary Health & Family Welfare and Chairperson State Health Assurance Society (SHAS) Shalini Pandit today directed Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) Team to intensify IEC (Information, Education & Communication) and awareness building activities at ground level with a people-centric action plan.
Reviewing activities of the team in the conference hall of SHAS, Pandit asked the team to ensure cent percent compliance to the feedback received from people through Mo Sarkar mechanism in a time bound manner.
Redressal of the grievances received through toll free numbers like 104 (call centre) and 155369 (card related issues) was also emphasized by Pandit.
During the review it was found that more than 95 percent of the grievances received through different windows including social media were attended and appropriate actions were taken. Matters relating to ranking of hospitals as per BSKY performance figured in the meeting.
Categories and criteria of ranking of the empaneled hospitals both inside and outside the State were deliberated and worked out.
It was decided to take up patients’ satisfaction level as the principal criterion of ranking along with other service-centric allied criteria.
The SHAS Chairperson also emphasized upon placing of prominent signage in conspicuous places of the hospitals for convenience of the patients.
Functional issues relating to the speed of internet connectivity, OSWAS operationalization, strengthening of human resource, and up-gradation of BSKY software for online raising of claims, scrutiny and approval were discussed in the meeting. Solutions were worked out, and Chairperson set timelines for completion of different tasks.
Chief Executive Officer Dr Brudha D, Joint CEO Subhananada Mohapatra, Nodal officers in charge of different empaneled hospitals along with senior officers of SHAS participated in the review.
