Bhubaneswar: Sambalpur and Jharsuguda districts are likely to witness heatwave conditions tomorrow, according to the prediction of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
“Heatwave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Jharsuguda”, read the IMD forecast for March 29.
For March 30, the regional weather office has issued a yellow warning for heatwave conditions in six districts of Odisha. Districts going to be affected by the heatwave conditions on March 30 are Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir and Kalahandi.
For March 31, a yellow warning for heatwave conditions has been issued for Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir and Kalahandi.
“Heat wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir and Kalahandi,” read the prediction for March 31.
