Heavy Rain In Bhadrak: Two Injured As Car Plunges Into Pond Due To Poor Visibility

Bhadrak: In a tragic incident, poor visibility due to heavy rains, a car driver lost control of the vehicle and plunged into a pond beside National Highway No 16 at Simulava in Odisha’s Balasore district on Wednesday morning.

According to reports, it was raining heavily when the car going from Dhamra to Dhamnagar left the road and fell into a pond, and overturned. Two persons sustained severe injuries and were shifted to the Bhadrak Medical Center. The identity of the victims is yet to be ascertained.

On being informed, Simulava police reached the accident site and monitored the situation. The police have also launched an investigation into the conditions that led to the accident.
