Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of heavy rainfall and thunderstorm with lightning in Odisha till September 18.
Today, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Kendrapara.
Besides, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, and Kandhamal.
On September 15, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, and Jajpur, Kendrapara.
Similarly, over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Ganjam, and Balasore on September 16.
While there will be no major weather activity on September 17, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara on September 18.
