Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain or thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur over a few districts in Odisha during the next 24 hours, as predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.
As per the latest weather bulletin, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Nawarangpur.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.
The IMD further stated that the maximum (Day temperature) is very likely to be above normal by 3-4°C at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours and likely to fall by 2-3°C thereafter.
