Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, and Kalahandi during the next 24 hours. Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the remaining districts of Odisha, the IMD added.
The weather agency has issued a yellow alert in this regard.
Besides during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at a few places over the rest districts of Coastal Odisha, the IMD said.
The IMD said during the next 24 hours’ the sky in Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood is likely to remain generally cloudy sky with the occurrence of light rain. Maximum and Minimum temperature is very likely to be around 35°C and 26°C respectively, it added.

Yellow Warning (Be updated): Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, and Boudh.
Day-4 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 03.07.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 04.07.2022).
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha.
